Greetings!

The West Virginia Poultry Association, along with our members, allied and corporate sponsors, proudly accepts our vital role in supporting and protecting this agriculture industry. The Association is a nonprofit organization with a devoted mission of promoting a positive business climate for the poultry community. Activities and particulars that we engage in regularly include local, state, and federal regulatory concerns, environmental issues, legislative actions, governmental affairs, resource planning, animal welfare, consumer confidence, food safety, industry promotion, quality assurance, grower and industry support, agriculture stability, education, youth activities, and biosecurity.

The poultry industry represents over 50% of the total agricultural revenue of West Virginia. The diverse, local poultry industry has a payroll of over 3,000 employees. Such impressive numbers make it obvious that local and regional economies prosper extensively from the stability of sound poultry operations.

2024 was an optimistic one. However, due to the various challenges the industry faces daily, a solid poultry association that strives to protect, educate, and meet these challenges head on is more important than ever. We all know budgets are increasing. As a non-profit organization, the WVPA’s operating budget alone is nearing $30,000 and this does not include our major endeavors such as the annual festival & convention, tri-county fair, state fair, etc. We believe with your sponsorship we can continue to make a positive difference in our poultry communities. We respectfully seek your support in becoming a loyal partner in continuing our mission. If you were a sponsor, please know your support was a tremendous asset and greatly appreciated in 2024, please consider continuing your support in 2025.
